
Fête de la Musique 2025 in Georgetown

he Georgetown BID, Georgetown Heritage and Villa Albertine, the French Institute for Culture and Education, are partnering to host the 2025 Fête de la Musique - World Music Day.
More than 40 musical acts will perform in 20+ locations throughout Georgetown’s commercial district from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m., or at one of three stages at La Maison Française from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. Locations include Georgetown Waterfront Park, atop the Canal Boat at Lock 4, Grace Church lawn, Book Hill Park, and the Embassy of France, among others. Performance genres include R&B, Americana, jazz, bluegrass, classical, indie, rock, and music with Latin, Brazilian, African, Southeast Asian and French influences.
The full line-up of performances, artists and program details will be announced soon at georgetowndcmusic.com and villa-albertine.org for Georgetown’s commercial district and La Maison Française, respectively. Eventbrite registration is also available on both websites. Fête de la Musique is a free walk-in event. For the event at the Embassy of France, entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and access may be temporarily paused if capacity is reached.
