A new French Brasserie, Josephine, has opened in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Inspired by Parisian eateries, Josephine brings the timeless charm and culinary traditions of France to Alexandria. Executive Chef Matt Cockrell leads the kicthen at Josephine, and his menu combines classic French dishes with his own French-inspired creations. Some menu highlights guests can get excited for include Seared Red Drum, French Onion Soup, Beef Bourguignon, and more. Prices for appetizers range from $12-$18, salads from $16 to $22, and entrees from $20 to $40. Spirits Director Nick Farrell has curated an inventine and extensive selection of housemade cocktails, to accompany the wine pairings. Josephine boasts 220 indoor seats, two large dining rooms, one smaller dining room, one of Old Town's classic bars, a hideway lounge, and champagne bar.
