Michelin-starred Chef Elias Tadesse brings two of his most celebrated ventures under one roof with the opening of Mélange Foods Inc. in DC’s Shaw neighborhood. This multi-concept space marks the return of Mélange and Doro Soul Food, with a third concept - Moya (set to open later this year). Mélange Foods Inc. is an incubator for cultural expression through foods that reflects Taddesse’s French culinary training, East African heritage, and vision to create a hub where bold flavors, storytelling, and community come together. Mélange and Doro Soul Food are returning with signature dishes as well as new items. Mélange Food Inc. features 60 indoor seats and 24 outdoor seats, anchored by an indoor-outdoor bar.
