Passport Eatz has officially opened in downtown Silver Spring’s food hall, Solaire Social, located. The Jamaican fusion restaurant is founded by four friends with the shared dream of bringing the comforting flavors and culinary traditions of Jamaica to the modern fast-casual dining experience. Passport Eatz is the sister concept of Passport Juices, a Caribbean-inspired juice bar offering fresh tropical fruit blends, which soft-launched in Solaire Social in April. Driven by the belief that food and drinks should nourish the body and uplift the spirit, friends Brian, Rohan, Leon, and Nick founded Passport Eatz and Passport Juices to bring the vibrant flavors and comforting aromas of their childhood in Jamaica to their community in the U.S. Both concepts are thoughtfully developed to reflect a commitment to cultural authenticity and culinary innovation, creating a space where guests can experience the versatility of fusion cuisine while appreciating Caribbean culinary traditions in a modern, inclusive setting. Together, Passport Eatz and Passport Juices offer guests a holistic dining experience - pairing bold Jamaican flavors with flavorful, health-forward beverages inspired by the Caribbean.
