Visit Montgomery’s Go MoCo Month is a collection of week-long programs in May celebrating Montgomery County, Maryland’s small businesses and entrepreneurial spirit. Throughout the month, visitors and locals will be able to access deals, discounts, and special events at a selection of the county’s hotels, restaurants, attractions, retail, and craft beverage producers. The Go MoCo Month campaign celebrates the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit within the tourism and hospitality industry.• May 1-10: Week one starts with Shop MoCo Week, aligning with National Small Business Week, celebrating the diverse range of small shops contributing to the county's charm. Local shops will offer a deal or discount. Participants will check-in to the Go Shop digital passport to redeem deal and be entered to win the Go MoCo Ultimate Giveaway.• May 10-19: Week two, MoCo Eats Week shifts the spotlight to the region’s culinary diversity with the 4 annual MoCo Eats Week. Food and beverage businesses can participate in the largest Montgomery County restaurant week of the year. Participants will check-in to the Go Eat digital passport to redeem deal and be entered to win the Go MoCo Ultimate Giveaway.• May 19-25: The third week, MoCo Hotel Week, coincides with National Travel & Tourism Week, emphasizing the county's welcoming accommodations. Hotels will feature special packages encouraging spring and summer travel to the county.* May 24-31: As the campaign crescendos towards Memorial Day Weekend, week four completes the month-long event with MoCo’s Kick Off to Summer, highlighting fun things to see and do during your weekend in Montgomery County. Participants will check-in at events on the Go Play digital passport to be entered to win the Go MoCo Ultimate Giveaway.
