Curtain's Up: DC Theatre Week Is Back (& Pre-Show Dinners)

DC Theatre Week kicks off September 24, and runs through October 11. That’s three weeks of the region's stages throwing their doors open with tickets at $25, $45, and $65, which is 30 to 40 percent off what you'd normally pay. Theatre Washington runs the show, and there are 25 to 30 productions in the mix this year: musicals, comedies, dramas, a few world premieres, and some classics getting a fresh coat of paint. Woolly Mammoth has Steve Yockey's Venus, Mosaic Theater is staging Brian Quijada's Somewhere Over the Border and there's a lot to choose from across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
