Capital Wine School - Champagne Specialist Course – 2 Day Intensive

In partnership with Comité Champagne, the Capital Wine School presents a two-day, in-person Champagne Specialist certification course on March 7–8, 2026, led by Jay Youmans MW. Priced at $795, the program includes two full-day classroom sessions, tastings of 14 Champagne wines, a PDF study booklet, online pre-course modules, and the final examination. Designed for both industry professionals and serious enthusiasts, the intensive curriculum explores Champagne’s history, terroir, production methods, and styles while developing practical skills in tasting, service, pairing, and recommendation. The course runs Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (lunch not included) at the Capital Wine School, with pre-course preparation required in advance and an on-site, closed-book exam concluding the program.
