Come out for the kick off of Poca Madre’s cooking class series with an afternoon exploring masa, a foundational ingredient in Mexican cooking and the basis of their 12-course taco omakase. Enjoy a welcome cocktail as chef Faiz Ally shares his techniques for turning masa into magic. Learn about the nixtamalization process, different corn varietals, corn grinding and how to prepare tortillas, sopes and tetelas. Tickets are priced at $98 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity.
