Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is pleased to announce its annual Brunch with Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, taking place on Sunday, May 17 beginning at 11:30 a.m. Set in the hotel’s courtyard, the experience will feature Victoria Eady Butler, Uncle Nearest Master Blender and great-great-granddaughter of Nearest Green, presenting curated whiskey flights. Guests will be welcomed with an Uncle Nearest Grown Folk Mimosa before being seated for a three-course brunch crafted by Executive Chef Jaime Montes de Oca and Executive Pastry Chef Lyndsey Barton, with cocktail pairings by Uncle Nearest Mixologist Akinde. The menu includes a bread basket with whipped rooftop honey butter, followed by courses such as the 1884 & Smoked Avocado Tartine, Maryland crab cake and Black Angus short rib, and a decadent dessert presentation featuring Uncle Nearest-soaked chocolate cake, coconut plant pot, and a whiskey flight including Fairmont’s own single barrel. The experience is priced at $99 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity, or $219 with a bottle of Fairmont’s Uncle Nearest Single Barrel, with additional cocktails and cigars available for purchase.
