“France vs. California” Anniversary Wine Luncheon

L’Auberge Chez François continues its 50th anniversary celebration with a “France vs. California” Wine Luncheon on April 23 from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM. This interactive four-course experience features a blind tasting that pairs wines from France against selections from Denner Vineyards in California.

Each course is thoughtfully designed by Chef Jacques to complement two competing wines, inviting guests to compare flavor profiles, discuss pairings, and ultimately choose their favorites. The tasting is guided by the restaurant’s sommelier alongside guest expert Jeff Dixon of Lux Wines, with insights revealed after each course.

The experience begins with seasonal canapés and a welcome rosé, followed by a multi-course menu and dessert, creating a dynamic and engaging way to explore regional wine differences in an elegant setting.
