Hotel Heron Launches First Monthly “Across the Table” Series with Nina Ligon

Looking for a new way to experience Alexandria’s creative community? Hotel Heron is launching Across the Table, a new monthly conversation series bringing some of the area’s most compelling artists, creatives, and cultural voices together for intimate, thought-provoking conversations in the heart of Old Town. The inaugural event from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Hotel Heron’s Reading Room, featuring multidisciplinary artist, writer, and cultural curator Nina Ligon in conversation with Hotel Heron’s Director of Lifestyle, Matt Talley. Ligon’s work spans spoken word, vocal and stage performance, and community-centered storytelling, and she brings a unique perspective shaped by her experience as an Air Force veteran, creative entrepreneur, fundraiser, and cultural curator. The event is free and open to the public, with no tickets required.
