Neutral Ground Bar + Kitchen’s Inaugural Wine Dinner

When:
October 30,2025 – October 30,2025 all-day
Where:
Neutral Ground Bar + Kitchen
6641 Old Dominion Drive, McLean, VA

Neutral Ground Bar + Kitchen is hosting its inaugural Wine Dinner at 6:30 p.m., marking a milestone evening for McLean’s newest culinary destination. Chef David Guas welcomes DC native and winemaker John Lockwood of Enfield Wine Co. in California, alongside Doug House of Chain Bridge Cellars, for an exclusive five-course dinner celebrating craftsmanship, community, and storytelling through food and wine.

Lockwood, known for trading guitar strings for grapevines, returns to his hometown for this one-night-only event, guiding guests through five exceptional Napa Valley varietals paired with a curated menu by Chef Guas. Each course showcases both the chef’s Southern sensibilities and Lockwood’s expressive winemaking style — including dishes such as Scallop Crudo with chilies and citrus, Wood-Fired Mushroom Risotto, and Braised Beef Short Ribs with smoked gouda grits, each paired with a different Enfield wine.

Enfield Wine Co., the family project of John Lockwood and Amy Seese, embodies a philosophy that great wines tell a story rather than chase perfection. Working exclusively with small vineyards and independent growers, their wines reflect a true sense of place and purpose. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase featured wines from Chain Bridge Cellars during the dinner.

Tickets are $150 per person, excluding gratuity, and reservations can be made via Eventbrite.
