DC SCORES is bringing together poetry fans and District soccer fans to raise funds for their organization which creates neighborhood teams to give kids the confidence and skills to succeed on the playing field, in the classroom, and in life. The annual event will feature an auction on exclusive items, performances from the regions top spoken word performers at the Busboys and Poets poetry lounge, or just soak up the atmosphere at D.C. United's home turf while you mingle with your favorite players from both the United and Washington Spirit teams! General admission tickets begin at $200 per person, and can be purchased here with additional details. The benefit will begin at 6:00 p.m.
