On Sunday, March 22, from 4:00–6:00 PM, Hank's Oyster Bar in Old Town Alexandria hosts an interactive Oyster 101 workshop led by Sarah Matheson of Matheson Oyster Co. Guests will begin with a refreshing oyster shooter before diving into an educational class covering oyster farming methods, restoration efforts, and oyster anatomy. The experience includes a guided tasting of Virginia, East Coast, and West Coast oysters, along with samples of fried oysters, baked oysters, and oyster stew served family-style.
