Summer Sounds at Moonraker Happy Hour
655 Water St SW
The Wharf invites guests to embrace the warmth of summer nights with its new Summer Sounds series at Moonraker, the hotel’s Japanese-inspired rooftop lounge. Taking place every Friday and Saturday from 9:30 p.m. to midnight, the series features a curated lineup of live DJs who celebrate Moonraker’s cultural roots through eclectic Japanese music genres. Fridays offer “Deep House Meets Tokyo Lounge,” blending deep house, Japanese electronic lounge, and minimal tech. On Saturdays, “Vinyl Nights” showcase rare Japanese jazz, '90s Tokyo hip-hop, lo-fi electronica, and remixed modern city pop. Guests can elevate the experience with specialty cocktails such as the Kiss of Kisuri ($28), crafted with Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky, jasmine tea, orange blossom water, and ginger ale, or the Blushing Geisha ($26), a vibrant mix of Empress Gin, Luxardo Maraschino, St. Germain, bitters blend, and tonic water. To complement the music and drinks, Moonraker offers a selection of refined Japanese bites, including the Ora King Tartare ($24), prepared with quinoa-furikake, preserved lemon kosho crema, and yaki mochi. Sashimi and nigiri options like the Hamachi ($18) are served two pieces per order. Food is available until 11:00 p.m. each night. Click HERE to make your reservation.
