Long Shot Hospitality in partnership with Chef Gabe Erales has opened a new upscale Tex-Mex restaurant, Ometeo in Tyson's Capital One Center. Leaning into the contrast of Texas border cuisine, Ometeo takes the culinary mash-up of Tex-Mex to a new level with high-quality ingredients, thoughtful preparations, and strong coastal influences. Executive Chef Manuel Péréz Hernández works closely with Chef Gabe to bring the menu to life. Some menu highlights include Stuffie “Tamal”, Fish Tacos, Quail Milanesa, and more. To complement the favorful menu, Beverage Director Donato Alvarez has created a playful yet elevated beverage program, featuring takes on popular Tex-Mex cocktails and an extensive selection of agave-based spirits. The space features expansive dining rooms decorated with antique, vintage, and handmade artisan goods, as well as a large outdoor bar and a second-floor mezzanine lounge.
