Bastille Day is just around the corner—and Old Town Alexandria’s beloved Bastille Brasserie & Bar is hosting a weeklong fête of French flavor and flair in honor of France’s national holiday. Celebrate Revolutionary Week (July 8th–13th) with a luxurious prix fixe menu and à la carte selections that bring the flavors of Provence, Marseille, and Paris to the heart of Alexandria.
Enjoy a special afternoon service from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 13th — with Bastille’s full Bastille Week menu on offer.
On Monday, July 14th – Bastille Day! – Bastille opens at 4 p.m. to unveil a prix fixe-only menu filled with current seasonal delights and French culinary classics. To elevate the celebration, a selection of special wine pairings will also be available — perfect for toasting liberté, égalité, and fraternité.
Dishes include Escargots Provençales with basil pesto and tomato, Magret de Canard aux Fruits d’Été (duck breast with white peach hibiscus gastrique), Risotto au Maïs with grilled local corn and fresh tomato citrus emulsion and Profiterole Géante with chocolate fudge and caramel salé.
