Common Grain Alliance Baker Meet Up: Baking with Local Rye

This networking event is for professional and home bakers to share bakes and information about baking with local grains. Andrew Roy, owner and head baker at Twin Bears Bakery, will give a brief talk about his creative uses of rye in his breads. Serious Home Baker and CGA member Mark Woodward will also present lessons learned about baking rye breads at home. $10 per CGA member; $20 general admission; UDC students free. Guests are asked to bring a bread or baked item of their choice made with local rye and a recipe card with information about their bake. Get tickets here. 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
