Join DC Greens and Produce Rx an afternoon of activities like a make & take seedling, free kids cooking giveaways, Giant Food healthy living nutrition activities, kids yoga (2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.) and more! You will also have the opportunity to enroll in a new Children & Families Produce Rx program: a food benefit program for families with kids ages 6-12 who receive Medicaid to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. This event is free to the public and family friendly. Activities will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
