OKTOBERFEST RETURNS TO WUNDER GARTEN

Wunder Garten announces the largest Oktoberfest in the city will take place over two weekends this year. The 5th annual Oktoberfest at Wunder Garten will feature weekends chalk full of music, games, German food, and lots of beer. New this year is a LGBTQ night and a Kick the Keg closing party, during which all Oktoberfest beers will be heavily discounted and resident DJs will spin popular music all evening. Oktoberfest comes to life at Wunder Garten with festive bands Die Zwei, the Lost Lederhosen, the Jared Stout Band, and Chasing Autumn, and a special lineup of entertainment like the popular stein holding contest, stein shuffling races, and more. Introduced last year to the general delight of all, Dogtoberfest returns to Oktoberfest at Wunder Garten this year. Dogs and (their people) are encouraged to dress up for the costume contest. Revelers sip on draft beers in the Märzen-style hailing from Bavaria's oldest breweries like Spaten, Franziskaner, and Hofbräuhaus, as well as the best Oktoberfest brews from local and regional breweries like Devil’s Backbone and Victory Brewing. As is traditional, Cafe Berlin and other vendors provide bratwurst, bauernwurst, pretzels, obatzter, potato salad, gurkensalat and sauerkraut throughout the event.
