Sicilian Wine Dinner With Paolo Calì Winery

Help Via Umbria celebrate their second installment of "Maker's May", where they will highlight visiting winemaker's from around Italy. This week they are honoring the often overlooked West Coast of Sicily by hosting Paolo Calì Winery from the province of Ragusa. This area of Sicily has a unique cultural history that, paired with its natural geography, creates one of the most ideal wine and food experiences, such as the peculiarity of Paolo Calì’s wines that are grown on a prehistoric sand dune. This unique technique enhances the aromas and flavors of the wines giving them a unique elegance that Chef Liam is looking forward to exploring with you at his table. Chef Liam and the winemakers will join you at the table at every course for a description of each dish–feel free to ask questions.
