After eighteen years in the restaurant business, Adam D. Stein, Executive Chef, has opened a new lively restaurant in the NoMa Neighborhood. This restaurant has many features to its 7000 square feet space with bowling lanes, event/music space, a movie screen, bar, arcade, a large outdoor patio, and kitchen that can hold up to approximately 300 people. With a wide range of cocktails, from a Negroni to a hemp-laced Scotch drink to two crushed ice-filled swizzle drinks, The Eleanor has something for everyone. The drink menu also features a vast array of wines and local beers. Its outdoor space allows for special food events showcasing a wide range of options such as hors d-oeuvres, buffets with a raw bar, whole roasted fish, etc. Regular dining menu options include grilled clams with herb butter; shellfish stew with tarragon broth; a Korean-style hot dog sporting furikake spice and kimchi; and fried chicken thighs accompanied by Indian-spiced carrot puree. The Eleanor is only open for dinner right now, but has plans for lunch service soon.
