Immigrant Food, a concept rooted in celebrating all cultures, has officially opened. The activist-focused venue is currently being led by a slew of influential first-and-second-generation Americans; Seven Reason’s chef Enrique Limardo is joined by his co-owner Ezequiel Vázquez-Ger and Peter Schechter, a global affairs specialist who formerly served on ThinkFoodGroup’s board. The menu has been designed to pay homage to all immigrant cultures found within the local community. This two-floor concept has also been organized to reflect and acknowledge how each respective culture dines; featuring a range of seating options. Most importantly, the restaurant is offering a slew of immigrant services from multiple prominent nonprofit organizations that provide language courses, legal aid, and citizenship classes.
