Nina May has opened up in the Shaw neighborhood, in the former location of Frenchy’s Naturel. The new restaurant is serving up a menu of reinvented New American dishes. Colin McClimans, who most recently worked under chef Todd Gray of Equinox, has focused on crafting the the menu while partner Danilo Simic is leading all libation efforts. Placing a emphasis on locally sourced food, Nina May strictly uses ingredients found within 150 miles of the restaurant. Currently, the new concept is solely offering dinner; guests can expect an a la carte menu meant for sharing, with dishes like bison tartare, whole roasted chicken, and some pastas.
