Chef Henji Cheung, Hong Kong and New York native, is bringing his culinary expertise to the DC area. With the help from his wife, Sarah Thompson, the two have opened up Queen’s English. The menu borrows influence from Cheung’s upbringing in rural Hong Kong; boasting an array of shareable dishes like the five-spice lamb ribs and the sweet and sour branzino. Queen’s English has put a heavy emphasis on their batched cocktails, serving sips like the Wang Cheung Tonight (bourbon, bonal gentian Quina, and Chinese herbal syrup) and the Chungking Express (gin, bruto american0, five spice).
