As the weather warms up the patio’s open up and we get ready to wine and dine al fresco. We have the list (that keeps giving) on all the local area restaurants have cooked up for this year’s patio pleasures…

ANXO has opened their patio bar with all new furniture every Friday-Sunday you can enjoy bar can specials, and a Doggy Happy Hour every Sunday from 12-5pm. Your pup can enjoy a free doggy ice cream with any beverage purchase at the patio bar.

BRABO offers breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner alfresco.Daily happy hour includes a $5 punch du jour, $7 glasses of wine, $5 beers, and select half-priced small plates.

Bar Deco has a new cocktail menu specially designed for patio season. Their lineup features frozen boozy beverages including frosé as well as a frozen lemonade with rotating flavors such as raspberry and yuzu, as well as a draft gin & tonic.

The Canopy by Hilton Washington DC | Bethesda North at Pike & Rose celebrates warmer temperatures with its roof terrace, you can unwind with friends and family, play games including – Giant Jenga, Cornhole, Connect 4 and more – or dine al fresco. You can also enjoy craft beers from local breweries including Rockville’s 7 Locks Brewing, Laurel’s Jailbreak Brewing and Waredaca Brewing in Damascus.

Casolare’s deck is back they have added a new enclosed tent and revamped the outdoor space for the warm weather. Chef Patrick Curran has crafted a menu that goes perfectly with the season. Prosciutto and melon, housemade creamy mozzarella, housemade bagel & pita chips with spreads, ice cream sundaes, and specialty pizzas are a few snacks you’ll fall in love with. You can enjoy Boozy Sno-cones, created by Pastry Chef Alex Levin with new flavors Pina Colada and Blue Passion Mojito, along with Strawberry Sunset and Orange Dreamsicle.

Cork Wine Bar –  Their new patio is a perfect spot for a quiet and intimate evening enjoying dinner and wine tucked away behind the bustle of 14th Street. The patio garden is adorned with greenery and lights, designed in conjunction with Amanda McClements of Salt & Sundry and Little Leaf.

Dacha Navy Yard outdoor beer garden is now open. Additionally, to celebrate this exciting launch, Dacha has partnered with local brewery DC Brau to create an exclusive label – Dachnik Helles Lager.

Dirty Habit — This year’s outdoor patio menu at Dirty Habit offers a selection of appetizers and entrées from Chef Kyoo’s spring menu that can be enjoyed in the courtyard. Including braised pork belly with celery root purée; Chilean sea bass; and DHDC Burger with a fried egg.

DNV Rooftop, the urban oasis atop the Kimpton Donovan Hotel, is reopening for the season as a beach hideaway serving playful cocktails from lead bartender Justin Golash, and beats. The rooftop bar is officially open on Friday, May 24. And beginning Sunday, May 26, Washingtonians are invited back for rooftop brunch and refreshing swims at the popular DNV Rooftop Sunday Pool Parties.

El Techo — This year El Techo’s adult treehouse has installed a new roof with semi-clear panels, which will allow the sun to shine through, even during those sudden summer showers. When the sky is clear, the roof will be opened from 0 degrees horizontal to 90 degrees vertical, making the roof open-air once again.

Jack Rose Dining Saloon — Their rooftop wood grill and Tiki bar are open for the season, serving a duo of skewers: shrimp with a garlic & honey glaze and pork belly with fresh pineapple and an apricot glaze. Open seven days a week.

Morris American Bar has opened a ‘Garden Bar at Morris’ – an expanded iteration of its outdoor patio. The Garden Bar features summer cocktails, a laid-back atmosphere, and weekday happy hour offerings. Additionally, fresh herbs grown in planters lining the patio space are used in many of the cocktails. 
Radiator — Their rooftop at the Kimpton Mason & Rook Hotel is open for the summer season with a year-round focus the chef-driven cocktail bar on the first floor  Executive Chef Jonathan Dearden and the Radiator team have worked double-duty to bring a separate food and bar menu the rooftop bar.

Top of the Gate — The rooftop bar and lounge at The Watergate Hotel boasts  360-degree views of the DC skyline. This year they are offering a fresh, new menu of handcrafted cocktails and Mediterranean inspired small plates.

Vinoteca’s patio is open along with their charming backyard Plaza Bar for Washingtonians looking to enjoy the beautiful warm weather. Reminiscent of a European courtyard, Vinoteca’s just-reopened Plaza offers a new outdoor patio menu, frozen wine-based slushies, refreshing food-friendly wines, and its popular oyster-shell bocce court.
